Raise the player's Attack, then add the right elemental damage type for the enemy you are fighting.

The Gobfin Build
Gobfin and Gobfin Ignis both use Angry Shark. Each one raises the player's Attack while it is in the party, and this bonus stacks across multiple Gobfins. A common setup is four Skill Lv. 5 Gobfins for +80% Attack, leaving the fifth party slot for an elemental converter.

Party elemental boosters strengthen Pals of that element by +15–30% and do not stack. Activated converters add +30–50% player Attack while their Partner Skill is active. Mounted converters add +5–20% while ridden; Frostallion and Frostallion Noct instead add +10–40%.
